The Shinagawa Prince Hotel is located 2 minutes from Shinagawa Station’s Takanawa Exit on foot and has excellent access to both Haneda Airport and downtown Tokyo. In addition to guest rooms, restaurants, and banquet halls, The Shinagawa Prince Hotel is an entertainment hotel featuring a cinema, bowling alley, tennis court, golf area, and the urban entertainment park, Epson Aqua Park Shinagawa – which had its Grand Opening in July 2015 featuring sea creatures, with light, sound, and video.
The hotel is comprised of 4 towers – Main Tower, Annex Tower, N Tower and East Tower – providing about 3,500 rooms to meet the various needs of guests, as alone on business, as couples or as families.
Depending on the situation, a variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese restaurants, as well as food courts are available. Enjoy buffet dining featuring Japanese, Western, Chinese, and Asian cuisine, and desserts in Luxe Dining Hapuna‘s spacious hall with seating for over 400 guests. At Top of Shinagawa, enjoy a buffet and bar while gazing at Tokyo’s skyline, or dine at genre specific Japanese restaurants for sushi and tempura that take their names from famous post towns on the Tokaido Road, like Ajikaido Gojusantsugi. Cafe Restaurant 24 offers 24hr service so guests can dine at any time regardless of business schedule or arrival time. With a variety of indoor facilities, the entire day can be spent at the cinema, bowling, or playing tennis without leaving the hotel grounds and caring about weather.
Accessibility
The Shinagawa Prince Hotel has 3 wheelchair accessible rooms. Two 26.5m² rooms in the Main Tower and one 26.2m² room in the Annex Tower. All are twin rooms with one bed being a sofa-bed. A flashing alarm is available for those with hearing impairments. A shower chair can be provided to be used in or by the bathtub.
The hotels is accessible in almost all areas, but a small number of the many restaurants have a step or two, as does the sports center and N Tower south exit.
Guide dogs are allowed everywhere.

I stayed here in 2008. While I didn’t stay in one of their accessible rooms (wasn’t a problem because my caregiver was able to pack me around), I was able to easily get around the room, all common areas, stores, restaurants, bowling ally, aquarium, aqua stadium, and more with my manual wheelchair. Checking in was easy, the staff was super nice and helpful. I chose this hotel because of its close proximity to Shinagawa station (literally across the street, and no we didn’t hear/feel the trains), which made getting around the Tokyo area and back super convenient and easy! As a bonus, the restaurants located in the hotel were varied and amazing, and made it easy to find something we liked “back at home base” if we didn’t find anything on the way back from where we were exploring during the day. If I vacation in the Tokyo area again, I will definitely check out an accessible room here. Highly recommended!
