Holiday Inn Osaka Namba is conveniently located in the heart of Osaka, only steps away from Dotonbori Canal. Holiday The hotel is located in Namba’s entertainment district which is great for good food choices, shops and nightlife. It is 18 min by subway/train from the main Osaka train station. It is a train ride to Osaka Castle (35 min.), the aquarium (37 min.), Osaka Universal Studio (31 min.) and only a 10 min. walk to Kuromon Market.
Accessibility
The hotel offers 314 rooms of which, one is accessible – and referred to as ‘the universal room’ – with a 90 cm wide door and ample room to move around in the room. The accessible room has one king sized bed.
The bathroom has good space as well and appropriate bars but the toilet does not have a backrest, which could be a problem for those who need it for balance. There is a shower chair available but might be small so please contact the hotel to ensure your specific needs are met. The staff is very eager to please guests.
There are two steps at the entrance to the restaurant area of the hotel. Steps inside the restaurant can make it difficult to move the wheelchair to the buffet area as well. The restaurant staff offered to help guests get over the stairs or even allocate seats in the lounge which is located in front of the steps. If you want to have breakfast in the lounge, the restaurant staff will help you with the choice of food and delivery that meal to your table.
