Ryukyu Onsen Senagajima Hotel

Ryukyu Onsen Senagajima Hotel is located on Senaga Island connected just off the southwestern side of the Okinawa main island in Tomigusuku City, a short drive from Naha’s airport. It offers modern accommodation with a restaurant, hot springs (indoor & outdoor), massage plus extensive spa services, and rooms with free WiFi.

Guestrooms offer both air-conditioning and heating facilities. Each room is equipped with a fridge, green tea, and a flat-screen TV. Humidifiers can be rented from the front desk.

The Ryukyu Onsen Senagajima Hotel Restaurant serves a variety of Japanese and Western dishes in a relaxed setting with an ocean view. It is open for breakfast and dinner hours.

Accessibility

Ryukyu Onsen Senagajima Hotel has one accessible Universal Room with twin beds, wide doors and enough open floor space for a wheelchair to get around easily to most areas.

The toilet and bath are in a single spacious room, it has multiple grab bars for each, an emergency front desk call button, a wheelchair accessible sink, and more. The toilet has handle bars but does not have a backrest.

The bathtub with handheld shower has space next to it to facilitate transferring or use of a shower chair.  There are drains on the shower floor so it is possible to shower next to the bath tub.

The desk has an open space underneath for wheelchair users. Unfortunately, there is a step down on to the balcony, limiting wheelchair users to the room.

The onsen is not wheelchair accessible.  While the lobby lounge is accessible, only part of the restaurant is accessible. An accessible family/unisex toilet is available by the lobby lounge.

While not part of the hotel, it should be noted that restaurants at the nearby Umikaji Terrace, are generally not accessible or only accessible by steep ramps.
