Accessibility
From Gotenba Station, the only way to get to the hotel is via car. Email the hotel and ask them to book a wheelchair taxi with a company called Kurukuru.
Fuji no Kirameki has a two accessible rooms (one twin, one king) with no steps and spacious enough for a wheelchair to get to most areas easily. Most doorways are easily accessible large sliding doors.
The toilets include multiple grab bars and has enough room for side and front transfers, each bathroom has a wheelchair accessible floating sink. The shower has minimal threshold but it’s not very large and a folding door which could make it cramped for a person who needs caregiver assistance, there is a shower chair available upon request (though it is a bit low to the ground).
The twin room is larger and has plenty of room for transfers to the bed. The bedroom for the king room is much smaller and the only access to the bed is at the foot – making for a difficult transfer.
